Organization & UDF French Vanilla Cappuccinos
Anyone who knows me knows that I love organization. It's really the only way I can keep all the thoughts swirling in my head from not overwhelming me and attacking me. I'm not great at chaos on the inside or the outside. So, of course this means that this Blog has to be organized too. It may not be this way every time (because lets face it, I'm not great at consistency as hard as I try. I like change too much and get bored easily) but for now it sounds like a great idea...first we'll mine the Word, then get some encouragement for everyday then if there's time (I don't want these posts to be a day long) I'll give some random thoughts. With me? Let's do this...
Mining God's Word: Check out Psalm 4: 2b TPT
What makes me mad...yep, I told you last time I would get to this and for the 17 of you that actually read my last blog I don't want to disappoint. 😉
- The things of this world will fade away and honestly aren't all that great to begin with. So why do we care more about those things than the Word of God? Why isn't God the first and foremost thing we spend our time on, He is more important than a child's soccer game or the newest Netflix movie. Spending time with Him brings more joy than anything else in this life. I want to share this joy with everyone around me so that they will experience it as well.
- I'm not sure what this looks like but my prayer for 2020 is that I would have the opportunity to speak/teach/preach in a public setting. The Lord has been laying it on my heart for years and I want to be obedient and pursue His very best for me. I have no credentials except for years of Pastor's kid, youth leader, women's leader, worship leader all for which I have never been paid to do or received formal training. However, I believe that Jesus is my qualifier and that He has an amazing plan to take me into what He has called me to. My prayer for today is that..
- Smooth out your road in front of me, straight and level so I will know where to walk. Psalm 5:8b TPT
- Every day I see people being beat up, by themselves, others, the world, circumstances. It breaks my heart. First, I think of Keith Green's song "How Can They Live Without Jesus." We are called to be MORE to go HIGHER.
- Who we truly are...
- Beloved Sons & Daughters
- Peculiar Treasures
- Mighty Warriors
- My heart burns to tell people that this is who they really are!!! And how much God wants to bless, favor and hug on them.
What makes you mad? What fires you up? What is God calling you to in 2020?
What I'm passionate about will come next time...I don't want to lose you.
Encouragement for Today:
You are so precious to God. Everything you do matters to Him. Down to the very tiniest detail. He LIKES you and thinks your amazing. Let Him speak to your heart today.
Yea, this section needs tweaking, I'll work on that. I've got more than this, I promise. But this IS a great word, just saying.

Random Thoughts: Count the Fruit!
In our book club before Christmas we read the book, "You Are The Girl For The Job" by Jess Connolly. It's an amazing book! One of the things that she said that really stuck out to me was to count the fruit everyday. Write down a few ways you've seen His grace in the last 24 hours. I absolutely loved this and I try to do this on a regular basis (I won't lie, I don't do it everyday, it's that consistency thing again). So when I sat down the other day I just randomly wrote down what I'm thankful for off the top of my head...
- My Jesus
- The Holy Spirit
- A loving Father
- My best friend husband (who is also super hot)
- My beautiful, sweet son
- My spirit filled church
- My loving, supportive parents
- My working on their testimony siblings
- My job
- My beautiful home
- My hodgepodge groups of friends
- My sweet Christian piano teacher
- My neighbors
- A garage
- Blankets
- Showers
- Mobile food apps
- UDF french vanilla cappuccino
- The resources to buy and own all of these things
- Worship music
What are you thankful for today? Count your fruit and let me know how God uses this to plant seeds of joy and thanksgiving in your heart!
May the amazing grace of the Master, Jesus Christ, the extravagant love of God, the intimate friendship of the Holy Spirit, be with all of you!
Hannah
